About Bosch / Whirlpool refrigerator Pcb board
The PCB (Printed Circuit Board) in both Bosch and Whirlpool refrigerators is the main electronic control unit responsible for managing all cooling and operational functions.
Key Functions & Description:
- Main Control Unit (Brain):
Controls complete refrigerator operationcooling cycles, compressor switching, fan operation, and defrost timing.
- Microcontroller/Processor:
Executes programmed logic to maintain accurate temperature in fridge and freezer sections.
- Power Supply Section:
Converts AC (220240V) into stable DC voltage for electronic components.
- Sensor Interface:
Monitors inputs from:
- Temperature sensors (NTC)
- Defrost sensor
- Door switch
- Compressor & Inverter Control:
- In standard models: switches compressor ON/OFF
- In inverter models: adjusts compressor speed for better efficiency and low noise
- Defrost Control System:
Automatically activates heater to prevent ice buildup on evaporator coils.
- Fan & Airflow Management:
Controls evaporator fan and airflow distribution for uniform cooling.
- User Interface Connection:
